Medical Forms A, B , & C are required. (Forms)
Old North State Council is holding a Camp Physical Clinic for $25 on March 16th (Info here)
- Swim Tests
We will setup a time and location for swim tests and will announce that ASAP.
- Merit Badge and Class Registration
Summer Camp is an excellent time to earn Merit Badges, but it is also a time to have fun. We will work with the Scouts to determine their interests when the list of opportunities becomes available, and help them determine which activities they would like to sign up for. We will try to have their courses selected by the end of April so that we can get them signed up as soon as the online registration becomes available to avoid classes being filled up already. This will also give them time to complete any prerequisites for the course.
- FAMILY NIGHT!
Thursday night (July 18) is visitors’ night. Parents, relatives, and friends are invited to camp for a covered dish supper and campfire. Each family is asked to bring food for their Scout and several others. We will have a covered dish dinner in the shelter at our campsite. At 8:00 PM, the campfire program will begin. Visitors may begin arriving at 5:30 PM. The evening’s events will be over by 9:30 PM. Please inform your son of your plans. If you cannot come, arrange for someone to show up. It is awfully lonely on visitors’ day when no one comes to see you.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Summer Camp is a large undertaking and it is my goal to help us "Be Prepared" in order to make everything go as smoothly as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions.
