We had a great weekend camping at the cabin. Friday night we were joined by Hunter and Joey from Pack 65, who will soon be members of the Troop's new "Buffalo" patrol. Delicious tin foil dinners were cooked and they really enjoyed some fellowship time over board games. Saturday was a mixture of work and play for the boys, and the adult leaders had a "Beaver Day" work session around the cabin before heading to Frankie's Fun Park for the evening. Frankie's go-cart rides were a big hit as well as the Sky Trail, Sidewinder, and arcade. A few pics are featured here. Sunday we hiked to Scout Sunday service at the Saxapahaw Methodist Church, which was also attended by Cub Scouts from Pack 65. The service was great and an offering was taken up to be donated to Loaves and Fishes in the name of the Scouts. |
