How to Obtain the Cyber Chip

Overview

The Scout and Star ranks (requirement #6) require you to complete the Personal Safety Awareness Training (formerly known as Cyberchip) with your parents. 

Steps

The requirements for this training includes:

1. Complete the following pamphlet with your parents:

• How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide

• This can be found in the front of your Scout Handbook

2. Watch the following videos with your parents:

   1. Personal Safety Awareness Videos

• Scout rank ONLY needs to watch the Scout rank video

• Star rank needs to watch BOTH the Scout and Star rank videos

3. Have your parents and yourself sign the following contract, or create your own:

When you have completed the requirements with your parents, please bring in your signed contract and your scout book to the next meeting to get the requirements signed of
